REASONS FOR THERAPY

What brings people to therapy with me

I work with clients experiencing a range of difficulties. Many feel they should be coping better or managing without help. Therapy offers a confidential space to talk, understand what's happening, and find a way forward.

  • Leadership pressures or high responsibility

  • Work and career transitions

  • Questions of identity, meaning, or purpose

  • Anxiety or low mood

  • Ongoing stress or burnout

  • Relationship difficulties

ABOUT ME

A warm, thoughtful, and evidence-based approach to therapy

Before training as a counsellor, I worked for over a decade as a consultant in demanding professional environments.

I completed a PhD in Psychology, which informs my evidence-based, reflective approach to therapy.

I currently hold an affiliate postdoctoral research position at the London School of Economics (LSE), where my research focuses on careers, identity, and wellbeing, with work published in Current Psychology, MIT Sloan Management Review, and the World Economic Forum’s Future of Work.

My background in psychology and professional consulting informs my work but above all, I am guided by what you need, value, and want from therapy. Taking time to understand your unique experience is what gives therapy its value.

MY APPROACH

A thoughtful, collaborative, and trusted conversation

Therapy offers a trusted and emotionally attuned relationship where difficult thoughts and feelings can be explored safely.

This can help clients feel less overwhelmed by negative thoughts or patterns, sleep better, have difficult conversations, and reconnect with what matters to them.

Whether you have had therapy before or this is your first time, you can expect a thoughtful, collaborative approach grounded in psychological research and professional experience.

"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change."

- Carl Rogers
